Kangaroo. Went to Australia. Had in stores like beef and chicken. A bit chewy but not bad might have been improperly cooked. Also had Gator in Florida and yes it's a joke but it does taste like chicken but like the chicken from the sea. Had bison burgers cause a friend's dad went hunting in Montana. Had deer obviously not a scrub. My dad had dog once in Korea (I know but I didn't eat it and this was like 15 years ago before they started moving away from that). I once ate a cricket lolipop don't think that counts.

Dog.
Though I never knew it was dog's meat after I consumed it since I thought it was a goat. I thought the texture of the meat was funny.
I wouldn't even have eaten it if I knew it was dog's meat. I'm a dog lover through and through, but not served as a dish. Disgusting.
The next day, I got fever, rashes, and vomiting.
-100/10 would never try again

Snake on a stick in Morocco, Elk when I was in the arctic, hagus in Scotland (dont recommend), grasshoppers in NYC once, lobsters where I live back when they were poor man's food. Also supposedly I was given lion meat once, but I assume it was probably actually a dog or cat...was okay.

Rabbit. And I wasn't happy about this but...I actually helped prepare it.

When I was in college, my sorority and a Greek friend's fraternity had a party together, and he was going to make traditional Rabbit Stew. (Yes, all you Elmer Fudd/Bugs Bunny fans, it exists), and I helped slice the meat, prepare it, season it, the whole thing.

Then I actually tried some and it was so gamey, like overcooked chicken. Just, eww. Maybe he didn't cook it right, I don't know. I didn't ASK for the recipe. *^^* ?

Rabbits are an alternative meat that could become a global food source. Unfortunately, rabbit meat isn't popular due to its cuteness. Well, while I've eaten rabbits and even keep them now, slaughtering them for food is indeed difficult or rather, I don't have the heart to slaughter them.

I feel hella-redneck because rabbit meat isn't unconventional to me. I used to go rabbit trapping as a kid/teen.

But going off the what-might-not-be-normal elsewhere list, I've had rabbit, bear, partridge, quail, goose, bison, wild turkey, lamb, moose, mussels, clams, shrimp, lobster, crab, cod, pollock, eel, trout, salmon, squid, octopus and snails. I have tried sardines but only from a can and that was nauseating.

The weirdest thing I've ever eaten would be Turducken which is chicken meat stuffed inside duck meat stuffed inside turkey meat and a general all around abomination against god. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.

Yeah, me neither. Couldn't stand the taste of it. I've had escargot too, as part of a restaurant meal someone arranged. Didn't like that too well either. I mean, seriously, snails, eww.
