Recommendations Anyone have a book I can get hyped for?

Basically, when I get into a book (or any form of media), I get really excited about it and start making lots of comments. Ever since I learned how to use the multiquote function on SH, I’ve been spamming people’s books with long comments, highlighting whatever little thing I liked, found funny, crashed out at, have questions or theories over, etc. (you can check my SH profile for examples lol). It’s like when you annotate a physical book with random notes, highlights, or comments. Also I assumed that authors love comments, sometimes even more than likes (I know I do) because it shows you’re really engaging with their hard work, so I comment whenever I can. Sometimes if I *really* like it I’ll draw fan art, too (anything to procrastinate from my own work).

Does anyone have a book they think I could get really into and don’t mind some comment “spamming” on almost every chapter? I’m just a simple girl, I like cute/soft romance, comedy, or drama, but I also love action, fantasy, horror, etc. and honestly any genre. Character-focused stories are the best. Although I am picky with what I think is worth binging. The only thing I probably won’t make comments on is pure smut, not because I don’t like smut (how can a fanfiction reader not), but because I’m shy. ? Explicit content included in a book is fine, just books centered around smut and erotica gets me a little embarrassed hehe.

Well, I absolutely adore comments (I try to respond to every one I get), so I'll put my story up for consideration. It starts out as smut for the sake of smut, but my internal storyteller took over pretty quickly and before I knew it I had a story flavored with smut, as opposed to smut with a little flavoring of story. I've had largely favorable receptions, so I'm confident it's not entirely terrible, and with over 300k words (and counting) there's plenty to sink your teeth into.

There's lots of romance, plenty of cute and comfy moments (they're just too much fun to write), bits of adventure and action here and there, sprinklings of the darker sides of life (though not too much), and of course being an isekai it all takes place in a fantasy setting. It is a harem story, which can be divisive for some people, but if you don't mind that then give it a shot and see whether it grabs your interest.

Late to the party, but I'd love to have you as a fan! This is a girl's love futanari superhero work with a heavy focus on character, comedy, and well written but explicit sex scenes. The actual relationships are surprisingly wholesome, even to me, and I wrote them. It probably fits best into the 'erotica' category as there are maybe 5 explicit sex scenes in the whole 44 chapter book, although it's horny throughout. Hope you give it a look!

Mine’s a drama–horror story with a reverse “travel to another world” twist. It’s very character-focused and starts off at a slower pace to build atmosphere and depth. There’s no explicit sexual content (none at all, really), though there are some implied moments and subtle romantic elements later on.

I just wrapped up the first act, and the full story will probably land around 70–80k words. Maybe 90k if I really push it. One thing to note is that I write it with a bit of an anime-inspired style. You’ll see some familiar, grounded anime tropes (like childhood friends), but I also like to dig deeper beneath the surface and really explore my characters.
