Announcement: For the past few days, I have realized that doing these semi-objective reviews are actually making me enjoy stories less. I don't know how, maybe because it changed my mindset on reading entirely, but this isn't exactly good news for me. Therefore, I will be stopping these story reviews for an indeterminate amount of time.

Kinda bored right now, and I'm not in the mood to get invested into a story.

I am not an author, and I don't have a PhD in english literature, and english is not my first language. Therefore, my review will be subjective in certain areas.

However, I have read a LOT of stories, probably ranging in the hundreds. Despite that, the stories I actually read until the end, or stick to it until today if it isn't finished, numbers maybe at around 2-3 stories (basically word-only ones, visual novels / manga / etc. doesn't count since it is irrelevant), so I'm quite a picky reader if I say so myself.

First of all, the title of your story on the website and on your cover is different. The title on your cover doesn't have 'a' before 'dodge rate'. The cover being the MC(?) with / without the title of the story is pretty standard, so that's good, I guess.

Now, the blurb is not bad. It's a rather non standard blurb that actually got me laughing a bit, but the last part where it says

Now he looks at you... and asks: what are you?

is confusing, because it's hinting at breaking the 4th wall, but how is that connected to the title? I have no clue.

Now, for the actual content itself.

1. Your prologue is SUPER long (Checking your stats, you chapters average at around 3,2k per chapter so that's 19,2k words just for the prologue which is insane to me). I don't think that's a good idea, but considering your story title and blurb I don't think people would read your story just for the other world part. For example, I myself liked the prologue quite a bit, although I didn't read all of them. (+ is our mc having an affair with HIS SISTER???)

2. Your formatting of the chapter titles is weird, you really didn't have to make it so big. Simply putting Chapter 0: Chapter Name at the top left would suffice. + Also, on Chapter 8: Cathartic you forgot to copy the title, so it's still Chapter 7. + Also, prologues usually don't count as real chapters but that's really up to you.

3. Some parts of your story don't add up. See:

My body froze. A feeling of dread encapsulated me.
My heart was pounding so fast that I feared I would die of a heart attack before anything.
Ah, the floor is translucent. It was like a shallow water that reflected the blue sky.
"Wh-why am I so calm?"
That was strange. I was so nonchalant about this that it scared me...

Overall, I'd rate your story as mildly entertaining but not much.

You're strong. I love writing tragedies but for some reason can't read them. I'm too soft LOL. Usually you have to stick around for the ending to really feel the tragedy, and by that point I'm far too attached to the characters to let them go.
