Here in this thread, I would like to share a bunch of quotes, about 95% of which are from songs/tracks I like
Note that they do not necessarily are meaningful or mind-blowing, but the singer/rapper probably just delivered it amazingly with their vocal talent/beat
And a lot of these are non-English, so I'll roughly translate them to my liking
Any of these you're curious about, babe?
Also, am I cringe? Probably
  1. I promise you, dear there is no robbery here that's for sure. But I don't know about out there, they say if you drop your guard then you'll lose your stuff.
  2. I sleep next to women that I don't deserve. They like to hurt my pride, while I work their nerves.
  3. If I had a chisel, I would carve out a hole for me to hide in every time the mighty wind blows
  4. I've said before, money is paper, it'll burn when you torch it, so don't lose your freedom because of it
  5. Should we continue or should we kill ourselves? Stab a pen into our heart?
  6. You go home and ask your parents, ask close and ask far, ask in and then ask out, that you needed a husband but couldn't find one. Now that you've met the man who came from a faraway land, you wanted to come him with him, then let's go quickly my dear, before your parents scold you
  7. When I was 17 years old, I shouted out into an empty room
Into a blank canvas, that I would defeat the forces of evil
And for the next 10 years of my life, I suffered the consequences
    With autoimmunity, illness, and psychosis
As I got older, I realised that there were no real winners
And there were no real losers in physiological warfare
But there were victims and there were students
It wasn't David versus Goliath, it was a pendulum
Eternally swayin' from the dark to the light
And the more intensely that the light shone, the darker the shadow it cast
It was never really a battle for me to win, it was an eternal dance
And like a dance, the more rigid I became, the harder it got
The more I cursed my clumsy footsteps, the more I struggled
So I got older and I learned to relax
And I learned to soften and that dance got easier
It is this eternal dance that separates human beings
From angels, from demons, from gods
And I must not forget, we must not forget
    That we are human beings
  8. He tries to live so that he's are not ashamed when he look up to the vast sky.
He'll be proud when standing before the grave of a friend and lighting an incense stick.
  9. I walked each step, eye's up, feet stopping first, up each long step of the stairs and looked at him with eyes that no longer had tears.
  10. I cannot face this world that's falling down on me, so if you see my girl please send her home to me
  11. Without rules, love hums as if it can come up with a new melody
Because you are by my side when spring passes and summer comes
  12. Yeah I dipped my soul in these sheets of paper
  13. Oh my, my, my, my
When you leave why can't I breathe like you've stolen
    My very essence, my coding?
Went for a swim and then drowned in your ocean
  14. [Too long to translate]
  15. I don't want to see the execution scene
Because I'm too small in front of those people, I have to look
There are times when I'm self-conscious and alone, I avoid myself
And there was also a time when I fell in love with a girl with just a look
  16. The media will not accept it, this society will not accept it
Because accepting the truth of a child is like taking a punch to your face
  17. I brought the moonlight and coffee into the flan, and was the first person to kiss you without the smell of toothpaste.

I felt like I had fallen before the beauty of the Gobi desert.

Every day at home at this time, the sky is so quiet and deserted. But in a few minutes, all the barriers will be closed, crowded and sunny.

We are the ones who often hear the saying: In difficult times, wisdom emerges. But nowadays people have no soul, whoever dies is buried by themselves.
  18. In Zimbabwe, they make John Pope seems godly.
  19. This era is yours so I'll probably eat shit if I dare to speak. But if I had to, I'll gladly eat your blood.
  20. I'm the pageant of the good time, my goddess' the sunlight
  21. Burn the border
    Sons and daughters
    Law and order
    Crave disorder
    Praise my selfish ways
    I’ve come too late
    I’ve lost all faith
    I’ve lost all faith
  22. I think about that sometimes, vividly
What it felt like to look down and see tranquillity
One sudden movement in a world of possibility
Only one movement to expose our fragility
  23. But I'm a survivor, the child of destiny

There's like twice this but it's time for me to indulge so... See you guys soon.

My personal favorite quote of all time.

"All right, I've been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons!! Do you know who I am? I'm gonna get my engineers to build a combustible lemon that'll burn your house down!"
-Cave Johnson.

A quote I liked recently:
"If people are uneducated and stupid, you can't do anything with them. People like to be stupid, but don't make it easy for them. Argue and argue with them." - T. G. Masaryk (recently publicized record, most likely from 1934)
