I told my reflection a joke last night… it laughed first. ??
Night y’all… don’t worry if you hear footsteps when you’re alone. It’s probably nothing… probably... Right?!??

I'm confused about the point of this thread. Did you just create it to say that? Are you expecting other people to share scary experiences they've had? Enlighten me.

My workplace has this room called Computer Laboratory, and it is where I took up office since I'm an ICT Teacher-Coordinator.

Now the room has a smaller inner room where we usually store our dilapidated equipment, though recently it was converted into a faculty for some teachers of Science department.

Well, they got an invisible companion. That place got someone who opens the door even when I made sure it was tightly locked before I leave for home (I'm the last one out, so I got the keys). Our CCTV inside the ICT room often catches minute movements, but no one to be seen, even when the place has open lights, or when the dark mode is active.

Yeah, I get to learn to just ignore such events.

A few weeks ago, my housemate and I were awoken from sleep about 4:00 A.M. by an odd tapping at one of our bedroom windows. The tapping continued for about 5 seconds, and then about 15 minutes later, we heard the same tapping, and again, for 5 seconds. Unable to sleep after that, we took a flashlight at about 5:00 A.M., and sneaked outside to see what was going on. Not a sign of anyone. everything was very quiet, and the motion lights from either side of us weren't on.

We went back to sleep and in the morning I checked with our neighbors on either side, who have Ring cameras and CCTV on one side of the house. Neither reported seeing anything coming to our house. My housemate went outside again, now that it was daylight, to see if there was any signs of footprints, or a disturbance, and there was nothing.

When I saw him come back in again, there was a peculiar look on his face. "The screens are down," he said, jerking a thumb outside.

Then I nodded, remembering. For the summer, we had the screens down on our bedroom windows, and the glass side had been slid up to the top of the frame. Whoever had tapped at our windows, if they had been human, would have had to have been roughly eight feet tall to reach them.

I was a bit frightened then when I realized what day it was - August 30th. My uncle had died August 30th, 1991 - and we had gotten the call of his passing at around 4:00 AM.

Maybe my uncle was just checking up on me. *^^*

WOW that's quite a story!!!
If you didn't make out with your ghost reflection then what's the point?
Maybe I should have that's feaky hahahaha

BOTH IDEAS.
To be completely honest I wanted people to be scared because why not?! And I'm bored as hell.
I went to the movie theaters to go watch a horror movie it was . "The Conjurer ", wasn’t that scary I expected more but I was disappointed , because instead of screaming and being scared like to the point of having a heart attack, I was laughing like a disney villain while smiling the whole time. I'm pretty sure the people in the cinema were like this person's possessed or something. There's no way they're really laughing in a horror movie. But I couldn't help myself it was just to ridiculous. To funny it was more of a comedy to me. Especially
When some people screamed out of terror that was just hilarious hahahahahaha.

Same, like at night and I know I'm alone and everybody's fast asleep. I'm like a ninja with weak knees sneaking downstairs to get a snack like it's my mission at the dead of night and I keep looking over my shoulder to see if anything is there and when I'm finally at the kitchen eating mooncakes I'm still looking over my shoulder in case anything is trying to steal my mooncakes, but then i'm thinking, like if somebody or something was really there behind me that keeps hiding each time when I try to look. Then they have Olympic hid and seek skills ,cause there's no way each time when I turn around , they're not there. Thinking about it makes me laugh. And when I had enough of eating I leave the lights on in the house. Like bread trails thinking if I turn the lights off, something's gonna run at me. So I'm like no way Jose, I'm not dying today .
Then I remember that one of the lights in the stairwell doesn't work so I can't turn it on So I turn on my flashlight with my phone while checking behind me. I bolt up the stairs.I head to my room lock my door. Jump into bed and get underneath my covers thinking my covers are made of hold of water.
And that's the story of me going downstairs for a snack that might or not risk my life. But who cares I would risk it because food is soooo good , like I'm a big back for real I would died for food. But anyways that's the end of
"The Snack Paranormal Chronicles".
Implying you laugh at your own jokes while staring in the mirror. Just like me Fr
I saw a spider
Hahhahah that's another way to look at it hahahah.
Probably just wanted to scare people.
Both.

It can be anything, but it has to be scary.
