I want novels that actually make you FEEL the world. I know, I know it sounds like some writing advice but I find that in a lot of novels, after some time the atmosphere just falls apart for some reason.

(Not from SH is fine, I can search)

I hope this meets your criteria! It's more thriller adventure with some mystery than horror. If not, I understand.

I'll gladly throw "White Fur" into the ring - if you're alright with some furriness and short stories. *^^*

It's a bit slow to start as I dig into the MCs head space and his current life a bit before the outbreak starts, but my story is a zombie-horror-anime flavor with a mood/vibe that isn't gamer/system related. More early TWD/2000s zombie horror.

Alright, I'll read and if it's good I'll review later

Got Dropped into a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work is a pretty good one, ranks high consistently on novelupdates, some others I would recommend is Deep Sea Embers, Diary of a Dead Wizard. There's a bunch that I forgot the name of.

I recommend you read/play the When they Cry Visual Novels. Higurashi: When they Cry is the first of this series. For the definitive version play it with the 07 mod, this will add professional voice acting and sprites. The next would be Umineko: When they Cry, to play with professional voice acting and sprites, play with the Umineko Project. If you cannot afford, buy, or otherwise play the games/novels, there are let’s plays on YouTube. I recommend watching playthroughs with voice acting, but that is up to you in the end.

My novel is a dark fantasy with a dark, gripping, and mysterious atmosphere, set in an apocalyptic world after historical amnesia. (Note: I'm currently rewriting volume 1, but haven't updated it yet. The draft of this novel has reached 3 volumes with almost 100 chapters, but I've only published 2 volumes.)

If you're looking for a horror and mystery novel outside of SH, I recommend Gospel of Blood. It's a Chinese novel with a Western feel (similar to LOTM). I've read over 500 chapters and have been very satisfied so far. You can find it on NU.

Yooo I am currently reading DoDW, I left the deep sea embers already after the part where
the mc with the ship got to THE city (forgot the name), and made me ill feeling. Can't really remember why or what the scene really is, but this particular part made me quit, might reread later.
and I lost my bookmark for the other one so yeah I might reread later, thanks for the answer though :blob_popcorn:
