Which Type of Feedback do You Want From the Readers?
Every author appreciates feedback from readers on their novels, as it's a sign that their work is enjoyed, appreciated, and loved. There are 8 types of reader feedback:
1. Views: All forms of reader activity, including viewing the novel, including synopses, glossaries, and chapters.
2. Favourites: Signs that readers enjoyed and liked the chapters they read.
3. Bookmarks: Readers save the novel to their shelf to read now or later.
4. Ratings: Readers assess the overall quality of the novel based on their preferences.
5. Comments: Readers provide comments, criticisms, and suggestions, and even discuss the story per chapter.
6. Reviews: Readers provide an overall review of the novel, which other readers can use to decide whether to read.
7. Active Recommendations: Readers actively share the novel and encourage others to read it, including links or mentioning the novel's title.
8. Tip: Readers donate to the author as financial support to support the novel's continued development.
The question is: as an author, what feedback do you want from the readers? Choose four of the eight types of feedback.
