Can I get your opinion about these songs?

JAPANESE

Full disclaimer: These songs are completely (almost) AI-generated. I had ChatGPT read my novel and write songs about it and the characters, just for the fun of it.

I think they turned out really well, but I might be biased since they're based on my own story. I'd love to hear what other people think of them!

TL;DR: I just want people to say they’re good... haha.

Sorry I can't really hear the lyrics well... there is subtitles which makes it hard...
Okay I found the way to get the subtitles...
Hymm of the veiled is good.
We especially the chorus and bridges (from the subtitles). Did you sing those? Damm. Is it on youtube? Running the site on mobile phone seems chunky.

No no, I'm just a listener too. As I said I only wrote the original story, then I had an AI read my novel and write songs based on it, and another AI sings.

And yes, there are some on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@fallenpages890 (if you are still interested).

And thanks for taking the time to listen to them!

Well, to start, I feel like I'm listening to Coldplay or Oasis. I'm not a fan of those bands, but they sound with really good intonation for being AI. It's clear that the English-speaking music industry is watching how artists who use autotune are falling apart. About the AI, it's really good—can you tell me how I can use it? But I don’t want it for songs, rather to make a VN.

You just need an account on that page, it's really simple. After that, it depends if you want to pay or just use the free version. There are a lot of styles, you just need to specify what you want in the prompt. You'll see for yourself, it's very easy.

Now, if you are talking about the lyrics part, that's just ChatGPT.

There are some clear AI bits that undermine the entire thing for me with the "Hymn of the Veiled Voice". With real artists performing, these would probably be very good.
"Only Darkness Only Light" feels kind of like the BTO soundtrack to LadyHawke - kind of cool but not very fitting to the apparent genre.
Only picked one more but suspect this will be a pattern - the ones that sound "medieval" have obvious AI bits, the more "modern" ones just are kind of jarring.
The last one actually feels like it could be an anime theme song.

Hey, thanks for listening! Well, as long as they're AI, they'll sound like AI, at least for another year or two...

I like all of them (given they're singing about my novel), though in my opinion, the Japanese ones sound much more human.

Thanks for the tip. Do you know of any programs that can be used to make visual novels with AI? The same goes for voices.

No, sorry, I'm not that knowledgeable. You could ask ChatGPT itself. Though I believe you're still going to have trouble getting consistent images, especially for characters and things like that.
