[Rant] I laugh whenever social media claimed that human is destroying Nature

I am not pulling any pun. It's actually really funny when I read those 'shocking' titles.

Human has far greater chance at destroying Gods than destroying all lives in the universe. Let alone destroying Nature.

I think many people have been reading too many pop-culture books like scifi novels and religious texts.

First of all, I want to establish one fact. Nature or Mother Nature is an immoral bitch! She cares not what we are or what we do because nothing we and every single other species regardless of how advanced our civilisations become can do anything to harm Nature. Nature and Harmed are 2 paradoxical terms. They can not be used for each other. You can wordsmith things like Visible John Cena, Real Imagination, Black Light but not Harmed Nature. Nature does not have a property that can be used to be considered harmed or healthy. Life and environment can be harmed, not Nature.

Nature is everything. She is earth. She is air. She is microbes. She is species. She is suns. She is moons. She is the cosmic storms and supernovae. She is space and time. She is the omniverse and the outer void of the omniverse. Even our very imagination if they can influent reality is just a part of Nature.

Every thought we make enrich and change Nature. Nature can change but she can not be destroyed. You can be destroyed and your sense about the existence of Nature can be destroyed. Nature can not be destroyed. In fact, everything is part of Nature and to become everything and to be the Creator and Destroyer of everything is to become Nature. Nature is the most insignificant thing and the most magnificent thing.

Most people use the word 'nature' only in the sense of describing the biosphere of Earth which is a completely insignificant part of Nature. Yes. Insignificant. Why? Because it matters not if something is the rarest thing or the most wondrous thing or the least significant thing. She could corrupt and alter it without a care. Nature as I said is an immoral bitch. She cares not for the virtuous or the sinful. She is above such ordinary concepts and also below such concepts. Human is just pretending that she is a caring mother and call her Mother Nature but she cares not for us or any other living thing (our siblings) in this Universe. We luckily evolved and gained consciousness and grew stronger. Then we invented a loving Mother and an all-powerful Father as a way to keep us sane in front of the acts of amorality of Nature but to be absolutely precise, we and all other living things chase after every single whim of Her. Anything that failed to do so, ceased to exist. Not even that All-ppwerful Father and Loving Mother we imagined were an exception to that.

I mean humans are as we speak playing a part in some of the world’s destruction. Deforestation, gas oil leaks, over usage of private jets, and so on. One definition of nature is “the phenomena of the physical world collectively, including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth, as opposed to humans or human creations” per the Oxford Dictionary. It isn’t just religious texts or pop-culture books…. It’s scientific facts.

Actually, it's religion that's destroying everything and has been doing it for eons.
And before people troll me, just understand that's personal opinion, and everyone is entitled to theirs. ?

Indeed, wonders are in the eyes of the beholders.

Killing everything would actually be incredibly difficult. There exist several kinds of microbes that live inside solid rocks. Some kinds of garnets have microscopic tunnels that bacteria have slowly eaten their way through at a rate of 1mm/1kyr. To kill this kind of critter, simply boiling the oceans dry and glassing every square centimeter of surface is not enough; you would need to melt the entire crust into lava or tectonic processes would eventually bring deep crustal microbes to the surface where they would reseed the biosphere.
But when someone says "destroy nature" they really mean "reduce biomass" and "reduce biodiversity". And humans absolutely need those to live. We are at the brink of damaging the ecosphere enough to doom all humans. I expect drought and famine will reduce the human population by at least 50% this century.

Already passed the point of no return in 2014.

2010 was the last chance for significant impact.

Objectively speaking, the way humanity interacts with the world is basically abusive at the moment. We're choking the Earth to death with manmade climate change and we're using way more resources than the world can possibly give us. It's actually kind of scary to think about.
