Watched Forrest Gump genuinely for the first time yesterday and Jennie was just so horrible to him. Aside from that I really loved how the story flowed, didn’t seem like too much for what it was. Is Forrest’s stories over the top and unbelievable? Yes. But in his life they really happened so to him it’s not like they’re untrue. No matter how much people in the move tried to make it seem. Forrest told his stories and then it hit the present.
