I love your enthusiasm for cow reincarnation. I'm trying to figure out how to write her performing her villainry without opposable thumbs. I imagine she might kick a lantern over and light the barn on fire, or fart in the face of the protagonist family's child, among other shenanigans.

Are you thinking more along the lines of an anthropomorphic cow-girl who's been genetically modified from human and cow DNA in a world where cows went extinct? Or are you thinking full cow?
