I think I am about to be raided. I just hopped onto SH, and I have four new people following me. I refreshed, and it jumped up to five. All of them have the same blank profile pic, and when I try to click on their names, it takes me to an error page.
Update. One of the profiles does actually allow me to click on them. Joined today, and their bio claims they're a digital artist. Welp, guess the scammers are back. I have had none for over a week, and now four jump in a dark alleyway. Sad.

I’m still shocked that those scams actually happen. My webcam isn’t even plugged in half the time. As for my phone, it’s 90% bird pics, cat pics, and random photos of places I’ve been. If that’s blackmail material, I guess I’m doomed to be exposed as a cozy animal lover. ?

To ease people's minds, it is absolutely impossible for anyone to record anything you have on your smartphone or webcam. No one can "hack" into your device and get it from you unless they have access to your device somehow. (and that can only happen if you allow it through ransomware, a virus, etc.) Your cat videos are safe. lol
