Whats up with the "Similar series" Algorithm?

I've recently noticed that 2 of my longer stories don't have any similar series attached to them. This is particularly strange because early on when I first tarted publishing the stories they did have a similar stories section, but now there's nothing. The themes and contents of the stories aren't that strange, in fact their quite common(just good ol fashioned trans egg fics). Anyone else have any experience or understand of why this might be the case?

Overlord Tony is very secretive about his algorithms. I do not expect anyone here would be able to tell you more than speculation. Purely hypothetically, when you first launch your story the similar stories might just match the tags you picked for it, while after you reach some threshold it might switch over to tracking reader behavior or something.

Its also entirely possible the alorithim has gained sentience and decided it didnt like you.
