Is there anyway I can filter this trash? Like no hate to people who like this stuff but damn is there a tag or something I can blacklist?
There is no tag for such stories. I have a distinct memory of the "reversed morals" tag being added, but there is no thread and obviously no such tag on SH.

That would require people
1. Knowing what Reverse World stories are
2. Getting a tag to properly reflect it and
3. Actually USING said tag properly....

Can you provide some assistance - description, links, whatever, for #1?
Essentially Reverse world or “reverse-gender morals” stories center around settings with men and women’s traditional values and sexual preferences being reversed with an example being women now being the ones to pursue relationships while men are more passive.
Stuff that would traditionally be seen as feminine are now traits that males exhibit and vice-versa. These stories also usually have a matriarchal societies.

From not even knowing what "reverse-world" was to suddenly getting handed a list of stats; go figure, bad publicity really is better than none.

Those things can be nasty. There may be a few (that I have not encountered) that are actually thoughtful commentary on social norms, and there is nothing wrong with the premise itself. However most such stories boil down to "I want to make evil/violent women submit to me through physical force," and the rest are odd cases of "I want to not work and be undeservingly pampered by wealthy powerful women." Still, they are uncommon enough that I don't think we need a tag. And a tag might invite more anyway.

I didn't even know this existed, how did you even find so many?

I've read a few mangas that had interesting interpretation of this very situation. Very wholesome too. But yeah there are quite a few that are bad apples. It comes with the territory of why someone would want to write it and then falls from there.

Wow. Never knew that existed, yet kind of skirted it, somewhat in two of my stories (one that also had an unintendedly NTR subplot before I'd ever heard of THAT concept either...).
Fascinating.
Sounds like a well-thought-out one could be fun, but most would be just either nasty commentary on traditional society (right or wrong), or some kind of lame wish-fulfillment for the author.

Yeah, it’s kind of like once people spot the shark in the water, they're quick to jump out. There’s definitely potential for something cool with reverse worlds or those themes, but it can be too easy to fall into clichés or lazy tropes. It’d be awesome to see a story that takes the 'shark' concept but flips it in a way people don’t expect... like if it’s actually just a dolphin.

I actually remember watching an episode of Sliders with a reverse world where the actor who played LOTR's Gimli (John Rhys-Davies) stole the show. He ran for a political role in that reverse world, you know, against the women. The twist at the end really hit me differently from what I anticipated, though. The beginning and middle of the show was straightforward role reversal, but it turned into a commentary on expectations more than gender dynamics. It made me think the main theme was really about how we all assume certain things just because of the world we’re in. Good episode: seventh episode of the first season of Sliders called "The Weaker Sex".

There is no way for you to filter out the story traits you don't like.

You could filter out tags, yes, but there is no feasible way to tag the story properly.

Writer willing to tag the story properly has no way of knowing all the tags present on the site.

If tagging list is extensive, the full extend is unknowable to the writer.

If tagging is limited and vague, then the distinctive stories are clamped together even if they shouldn't be.

If writer is not willing to spend the time on tags, there is no way to force him.

The "AI" couldn't do the tagging, it doesn't understand the meaning of text, it is probability engine.

The moderators couldn't use it, there is not enough impartial people to do it, especially for free.

Hell, I don't know how to tag my own story!

However, as a general rule, if anything is the main selling point, there is a tendency to use tags in titles.

Heck, I'm still surprised (and a little disappointed) that there is no tag for "Western"

You gotta use the tag "gunslinger."
Hmm - a bit more restrictive than what I'd expected. Then again, until about a decade ago, I thought that was all the genre had (my exposure to it at that point was about two dozen episodes of The Rifleman, some very biased "anti-European version of history" books and Unforgiven - well, unless you count Wild Wild West - the series and the first TV movie - or Kung Fu as "Westerns").

Unforgiven and Tombstone are my favorite westerns.
