Attributing it to a disease is a good idea. That way you aren't 'undead'.
Judt because you're concious and your body exist longer than human's natural life, that don't mean you're properly living.

There's a lof of disease that makes you unable to move and can only watch your body organs slowly dying one by one for really long decades.

And remember, the harem girl dont come from our world with our culture. Theyre not the same type of people in this forum.

The girl would've known since her childhood about the danger of Vampries and such, and aleady know she will suffer horrible tragic future after being afflicted by vampire disease.

Its like there's a girl with TBC and your MC don't want to help her because people in your old world consider TBC as a superpower that makes people immortal, forgetting the origin that TBC was the sickness that kills people in this new world.

I'm sure she want to be cured. It need some delicate careful planned approach, because it has affected her life for very long.

"Watch her age like a poor human?" So in this situation is the mc not a human or mortal? If he is not then its not watching her age but aging with her. Otherwise if the mc is human and the girl stays a vampire, then she will just watch you age and decay. Makes me think of Lord of the Rings with Arwen visiting the tomb of Aragon.

In the end though its pro vs cons. Is the vampirism affecting her health or the party/harem in a negative way? Is the sun that big of a deal or is it like an Elder Scrolls situation where being a vampire means her soul is claimed by some evil being?

For side effects you have the basic stuff of the person liking bloody/rare meat or keeping the pale skin. I remember one story, can't remember the name, where once the person was cured of being a vamp all the years that they were immortal for caught up to their body instantly. So lets say the person turned into a vampire at the age of 20 and were stuck at that body. Then they were cured 30 years later so they instantly aged by 30 years and their body became a 50 year old.

Personally I would say if its not a high magic world then removing vampirism would just kill the person. It would "cure" their soul but their body is undead. So unless you have some powerful object or being to cure it like a genie wish to make them mortal; I think death would be the answer.

? Rather than making your own lore in Naosu's story, did you know you can also make your own stories?

Clavicus Vile had a solid cure for Vampirism. It was called the Dragonborn.

Yeah I’m on the “asking this question with this level of context is inherently a red flag” wagon, chief. Not giving the vampire waifu the choice is extremely controlling behavior, and without further context there is basically no reason not to ask.

Does she need to kill someone every few days through Exsanguination, but you know she’d say no? Then maybe she doesn’t get to choose, but get ready for a messy breakup, or for her to kill you with her bare mortal hands.

Does it have massive side effects like enslaving her to the dark lord but you know she’d say yes? Alternatively, you need a combat team of waifus and she’d be much less useful to some greater cause without vampire powers? You ABSOLUTELY need to tell her about it even if you destroy the cure because someone else might offer it to her later. Also be ready for her to be a very angery waifu.

Making her take it is the equivalent of forcing your girlfriend to go to rehab, taken up to 11. If things are bad enough to justify it, and it was actually effective to force it, then maybe it needs to happen. Buuut you’re also probably burning bridges and she may relapse and start bathing in virgin blood or whatever to regain her dark immortality.

If you KNOW she’d say yes, refusing to offer it is absolutely abusive barring the extenuating circumstances I brought up, in which case you should still have a discussion with her about it, maybe workshop a plan based around this new information. Quietly not bringing it up would be a combination of bitch move and controlling.

Basically what I’m saying is that you either offer it, or you refuse to offer it while explaining why, with reasons that are unique to a given story and character dynamic between them.

Is the cure worse then the cause, the whole premise of vampirism is kinda silly. Does blood types matter, can they only suck twice from people who are Rhesus negative, do they get infected with all bloodborne diseases and stds just from sucking a sailor. What if they suck from someone in the early stages of leprosy does there body go through random cycles of growth and decay. Cursed with eternal life and pain from the various conditions wracking there body but cannot stop drinking blood as they will waste away. What about proper nutrition does drinking only blood give them scurvy, how to they drink blood what anti coagulant do they use can they use it offensively. What happen if they lose a limb, they are no salamanders and cannot regrow limb could there be factions that go around defanging vampire by removing there limbs and leaving them to crawl around as worms

As a former vampire, Ai-chan will let her choose. Besides, something is only valuable because it is treasured. If both of you live forever, at some point, longing turns into apathy, apathy turns into annoyance and annoyance turn into hate. It's better to spend the short time you have with your loved one than to spend an eternity with someone you hate. Scarcity makes you treasure it more after all.

Here is a malaysian eid video about treasuring what you still have. It has english subtitle.

As for side effect, Ai-chan suppose it would be the constant fear of wrinkles. So it would be great if the immortality is removed but youthfulness is retained until death do us part.

Okay, three strikes.

It's practically just another liquid cure meant to deal with.

Not all Vampirism are good. Most of the time they just became parasite.

The "abuse" accusation are very stupid here. Of course she can do what she wants.

But MC is considering giving option or not is also their choice as well. And he is making sure if MC offering it would result in her suffering side effects or not.

And does your MC an immortal or something ?

Usually vampire don't become human again unless the cure is strong enough.

You can attribute vampirism of human as some kind of disease from deficiency and parasitism at the same time.

You have to make sure the things that make elher a vampire part dont kill her when you trirs to remove them. You can call it a second evil parasitic personality of sort, like maliciously injected inner demon.

The side effect depens on how much damage left by the vampire part.

It's like killing a demon in Frieren that got injected into human.

Did you knwo that you can comment on other people's story without making story yourself ?

Why dont you make your own story then ? What a stupid logic flaw.
