We usually compare the strength of a character directly, but I want to compare the strength of the character based on the genre of the story.
can you tell me why you chose that genre

Fantasy and magic kind of go hand in hand so I won't elaborate on that. Comedy can do some miraculous things and things like toon force can really cause some craziness when it comes to power scaling.

Typically in horror, romance, and slice of life stories, the focus is on the characters. So they must be more flushed out and stronger character writing in general. I would have chosen Drama and Tragedy if they were options.

Yeah i agree about magic and comedy

Magic genre sometimes has characters that use a concept as a power (for example Mystic eyes of Dead Preception).

Comedy genre has characters that can't even die or be killed, although sometimes the power of comedy characters looks weak, but if you pay close attention comedy characters even have creatures that can erase the world just by pulling a string (for example spongebob).

Fantasy, because obviously. horror, because of how effective at not just killing, but warping reality cosmically. Comedy, because toonforce.
I understand that fantasy has great power. but horror. can you give me an example of a strong horror character

Cthulu, death(the concept), death(the entity), the clown from IT, the house from Monster House, Dracula, Frankenstein(the scientist technically created life, and did it a second time so I count him as powerful in a manner of speaking), the living machine from "I have no mouth, but I must scream", the crushing weight of reality, any creature or curse from Junjo Ito, and more that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Hmm...

Cthulu is no doubt.

the concept of death is definitely one of the high level concepts.

Peniwise from the movie IT has the ability where the more scared the target the stronger he is.

and others some are not so strong and some I don't know
