I first became inspired to write a story when I was around nine years old. At the time I just thought it was a good idea since my best friend could draw really well to write the words and make our own comic book. I didn't realize it was the birth of my first and oldest passion. When did you start writing and what was the reason behind it?

I just fool myself by thinking the ideas I come up with are cool, and turn these silly strokes of intelligence into chapters.
(Spoiler, it's bad.)
when did you start doing that..... process?

No idea.
Some have been trotting in my heads for years already, but most never went beyond the state of idea. They just turned into forgotten memories.

you gotta put those down somewhere so they become captured memories that you can recall at a later date if inspiration flares

Dad worked for a newspaper. About the same time that I learned to write (so five or six), he brought home a damaged roll of newsprint bigger than I was. I started drawing, writing, even trying to make board games on that paper. IIRC that was the first of three giant rolls of newsprint that he brought home, two of which I finished off (with some help from mom) over the next four years, and the other I'd barely started when my brother came along, and it became his property.

I also had a huge roll of paper in my childhood. I used to make little books with illustrations and short stories

I dont remember, but I think i was eating a sandwich at the time.
Do you yearn for a sandwich whenever you write now?
Two years ago, toward the last week of school, I found scribble hub and saw the create option.
Wow thats the first case ive heard of a person wrting after joining a writing site.

I wrote my first book in third grade as prof a competition.

It was about a disease ravaging Egypt and a group of people trying to find a cure.

Was pretty neat.

This make me remember when I was in high school and winning the second rank of writing competition. while I have no idea if it was truly good as I just write it with my little imagination at the times.

As for why I started writing again, is because... the dream is truly better than reality. and I want to drown myself in my own world. thats it.

It was around 2 am the night before an extremely important mock exam, and I was reading in bed on my phone. I had never, not once before that moment, ever written anything nor been interested in writing, in fact, I absolutely hated that shit.

But, out of nowhere, as I was reading a shit webnovel and complaining about it, my brain was like 'How about I write one?'. So I opened a writing app and spent the next 3 hours writing the world's worst first chapter of a 'webnovel'. Worse than some shit I've seen elementary school children write. And the rest is history. That was almost exactly six years ago, just a tiny bit over.

(I failed the mock exam with 2 hours of sleep.)

It can’t be that bad. Just keep working at it

I started in earnest in high school. I was mostly writing about forbidden love, since in 1984 was not the best time to come out to everyone that you are a lesbian. I did it anyway, and based on that experience that formed my first set of novels.
Secondary to that is the fact I'm mute. I've always been the one that went unnoticed and therefore my writing was my world.
I mean, kissing my girlfriend in the hallway often got me in trouble. Sent to In School Suspension. So I had lots of time to write.
It pretty much grew from there. Found DnD, created characters, thought about adventures...and here we are now 40 years later ?

Be well and thanks for the question!

Because year few months I wanted to make something like Cuiltivation of a Foxy and mainly to Inspire people to make things with my ideas abd to have a little break if things got too hard for a moment also to now Rocouperate, I first started off typnowriting down pincle paper and eraser my game ideas and I believe yeah creature ideas this plant sap stalker and then one day after watching cideo while writing that's what I did like livestreams of a man to het inspired and just to watch while doing i after talking to my family and mainly my dad, wtyped on the computer I usually use on a words doc absolutely amaxing almost maybe yeah everyday I typed out creatures, ideas details in short and detiale,, then,,, I made the game the world that they live in, the invironmenta to build apone magical modern with giant tools like a red mill with chain loving blades abhuge people and animals can stand in them and also looks a lot like a chainsaw, but can house plants it's it's white half circle pots and Makes wind tunnels ha First actually before monster hunter wilds did it before me then I started writing in notes okay had fun and Imagined more with increasing easy
I mean ease
With imagining completely the scene and reading, hah it hurts my head and (secret hushed tone later on)
also i learned how to get inspired from taking breaks to going out and looking for video. Now now now the srcreet sorry eh for spelling stuff and now!, get ready, now I heard frok firends that like Fluffy eum Fluff that she just makes words and Ezy makes and moifies I believe from dreams so for me I just keep going and when not writing stories in my own Imagination box or soul whoch is new I can lower the quality of them while still having I haven't tried too much me still making the story, also do it for fun or just for exsersize

I was in kindergarten. My tastes in novels were too niche, and authors were too bad at writing. So I decided to do it myself.
