To authors who do worldbuilding. How big is your lore bible?

I dont have it all in one specific doc, more spread out over a few with different themes, but the one that discusses how the magic system specifically works is 17k words. Then I have a little self made website with like, honestly I wouldnt know how many words but probably in the few tens of thousands range.

Most lore in a separate document I've ever written is like, a few bullet points... I usually get bored and just start writing the story :blob_joy:

That said, most of my stories are loosely connected, so at the same time, I guess they could all be included in the 'bible' of lore

@TheEldritchGod Ping because I believe you might have a good answer. Maybe?
I don't have a "lore bible" persay. I have a massive folder full of stories. I write something, think about if it's worth using, then chuck it in the folder. My policy is, write 3 times what you need. Throw out half, then carefully pare it down as small as you can make your story. If half of what you write is above average, and half below, then you should throw out at least HALF of what you write.

However, that unwritten parts exist for "me" and sort of wavers in and out of cannon depending on how the story unfolds.

Well... you also have this absurdly complex system
Which by itself is likely more complex than the entirety of some other stories lore.
