Importing from Libreoffice?

So sometimes when I import a chapter through cut and paste out of Libreoffice it glitches out where it will bleed the right side of the page off the screen. It also sometimes will lose the spacing or mess up the line spacing. (Before importing it I had the spacing set right).

For both of these 2 issues... I'm not sure what the fix is? I hate to have to go through and manually redo all that. Its a pain.

Is the cause of this whether or not its converted to .doc/docx instead of .odX(whatever) extention files?

Or any other thoughts on this? Thanks.

First, try copying from another place (like Notepad, WordPad, or Google Docs, if you haven't already) to confirm that it is Libre at fault.
If the problem persists, note it here; https://forum.scribblehub.com/forums/bug-reports.5/

And out of curiosity, so I can try recreating that issue on my side - on what OS are you and what version of Libre are you using?

Using Windows... 10. And the most recent Libreoffice. I use Libreoffice for everything. So I think that's doing it. Its possible other things could too, but I'd still need a fix for libreoffice. I also have to modify the text more and fix more when I import from notepad. So using notepad is more time consuming for me; therefore not useful.

Well I hope that helps. :) Thanks for replying btw.

I do like libreoffice. I think its just this thing needs a tweak.

Latest LibreOffice Writer on Windows 10, got it.
Will run some tests and be back shortly.

Did you modify the program settings, or is everything on default? Especially indent, spacing, and page layout.
And if you would be so kind - please attach a screenshot of the problem, so I can compare results.

I always use LibreOffice, and there is no such problem on my end.

Yeah, I can't recreate it on my side.
He must have messed something up with page settings, and it is *somehow* being transferred over (hard spaces, perhaps?).
Or, more probably, the web browser window is slightly zoomed-in and makes an illusion of the text being out of the borders.

I use LibreOffice as well, and copy-paste without issue. My files are saved as .rtf by default.

I recently got a new Android phone and find that a lot of stuff appears truncated at the side but is not, it is a display issue. You might be experiencing this, and not a problem with Libre Office, Windows or the site.

There have been people besides me that had this. Its not just me. The only thing I change are line spacing, paragraph stuff.
