Anyone excited for the Oblivion remake?

In case anyone hasn't heard, a remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is (probably) coming out tomorrow. For some reason, Bethesda decided to shadow drop it, and the only information we've had until today is from unofficial leaks. They finally came out and said there's going to be an announcement tomorrow, which most people are assuming means they're going to release it immediately afterwards.

Is anyone else excited? I never got into Oblivion because I played Skyrim first, and when I went back to the older game it felt unplayably janky by comparison. If the remake can at least raise it up to Skyrim's standards, I'll probably enjoy it a lot more. Probably not a day one purchase for me, but I'll definitely be keeping my eye on it.

I think I'll hold my excitement... if it looks like a fun buggy mess, then I'll be elated. If it's a great rpg I would be excited. But if the bugs aren't fun and the gameplay isn't amazing, while likely enjoyable, I don't think it will be as exciting or fun as Skyrim still is.

It really depends on what they've done, but I want to have high hopes.

If all they did was reshape everything with no changes to combat, I ain't gonna play it.

It's on UE5, dunno how moddable it will be. If not moddable, then nah, I'll play old Oblivion with mods instead.
