Oh, it is absolutely kept that way for a reason. Royalroad the most pervasive circlejerk since The legendary moonlight sculptor got removed. The risings star thing is killing the site.

It's an old meme. People will usually go "[x thing] goes BRRR" now to mean a million different sort of things, but usually it means it's doing something. Or just vibes.

Just go for it!

I never thought I would start writing a litRPG story or anything like it, but then it hit me: the rules of these series, both those that are inherent to the genre and those that you invent for your world, help me stay focused.

I have diagnosed ADHD, so sitting down and thinking "write a story!" only gets me a fuckton of ideas and notes that go nowhere. That's been happening to me since the early '90s. But working within the framework of a litRPG gives me boundaries while also letting me get creative with the ways I bend and play with those rules.

Also, I feel warm and fuzzy anytime I check an especially popular story and their spelling, grammar, dialogue, and so on is awful in comparison to mine.
