There were those pics, what ratio of human to animal is considered furry. Can't find them, sorry, but I am on extreme not furry part. Ears and tails are ok, horn are ok, wings are ok. Overall, if it is mostly human it's okay, especially face.

Let's blur the lines a little -- rabbits are sentient, dolphins & gorillas are sapient. Therianthropes are humanoid bipeds with some animalistic traits. I would not want to be a short-lived rabbit at the bottom of the food chain; a lagomorph therianthrope? Maybe, if lifespan & intelligence are equivalent (or better!) compared to Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

If your goal in life is to have fun & enjoy family life, sentience is sufficient. If you want any kind of civilization, you need sapience and opposable thumbs -- while elephants are capable of painting, they don't do it well!

I'd like to know what benefits there are to the other two lives other than genitalia. Which group lives longer? What are the worlds like? Which group enjoys a better quality of life? As for whether I can have sex or not, it isn't that big a consideration, at least not in the situation you mentioned where either I couldn't do it or wouldn't want to do it.

I'd prefer to be sapient rather than just sentient... That's basically my bottom line. If I can't think, it's out of the question.

I'd also rather not be genderless if possible. It's actually not the worst possibility, but it's not ideal. Frankly though, I'd rather be a genderless pokemon than a genderless human.

So both of these options suck. I would pick one, since I don't want to cease to exist, but which one would depend on how it actually works out. There's not enough info to make a choice.
