Till now, I always saved them in an unpublished chapter, but recently, I read a few times that people lost their chapters, so I got scared.

What do you use?

Other theme: A few days ago, I posted a thread about checking the hard drive of certain authors, and I was a little shocked by the responses.

I did expect negative backlash, but I feel like some felt particularly attacked and instantly got into a defensive position. I'm even sure that most only read the title and already started their rant.

So, I basically had a provoking title, stated what I thought about it, gave a well-known example, and then asked my question. So where did everything go wrong?

I didn't want to offend anybody, take away their freedom, or anything like this, but just voiced my fears, which are still right in my opinion. I even said that almost everything could be counted as this, but some are just more disturbing for me personally. And the fact that most straight up denied the issue is crazy even now for me.

I see it even more critically because I personally experienced how my mindset changed after reading average Chinese novels.

There was even someone who called me a pedo because I pointed my finger at another author which is crazy.

What did I do wrong?

My title was misleading and gave a false impression of the whole thread.

I shouldn't have called the author of Mushoku Tensei a pedo, after all, I have no proof of my claim.

If I offended anybody through this post, I want to apologize and hope you can read the thread again and give your opinions.

Oh, I fully thought he was a pedo, and everybody knew except me, and his fans loves him anyway.

I mean, you can look up his name, see what he did, and then form your own opinion. I was a little too focused on him and involved my own biased view of the author in my text.

Unfortunately, I simply don't care enough about the author or the book he wrote.

So I am just gonna sit pretty on a, "oh, ok."
And leave it at that

Have the folders from Scrivener and Plotrr set up to be sync with Proton Drive automatically. That way, even if I lose something, I can just sync it back from the cloud server.

On the other topic, I don't even know who that author is.

Ok, did a small search on the authors name.
I think the issue there is straight up accusing the person.

There's also the cultural factor.
Up until recently, age of consent in Japan was 13 and some three years ago was raised to 16. Still too young, but that's their culture.

No one uses obsidian? Recently heard of it and was even wondering if anyone had tried it here. I heard it's very good for plotting your story.

The manga didn't specify it. However, the webnovel outright say that the original person of Rudeus was pedo. He was fapping to the pictures of his big brother's young daughter. That was why his brother kicked him out of the house and as he walked around in regret, he came across the schoolboy and girl and tried to save them from the truck.

However, this does not mean the author himself is a pedo. Some still call him a lolicon, but nobody really cares because even if it's true, he never acted on it.

To answer your question, Ai-chan use google docs. Very easy to use now that they're better optimized and can even be opened on a potato.
