Sneezes make you tear. I had an allergy where I sneezed for 5 minutes last year, and the tear ducts open when you sneeze that long. Coughs FTW

I'll go with sneezing. Coughing makes my throat sore, while at least with sneezing, there's this phantom sense of ease/relief.

Same, but my asthma has also caused me to have minute long coughing fits. Sneezing for 2 minutes is slightly less painful than coughing for 1 imo.

Even if it means you could break a rib? Plus I feel like coughing messes up your throat too much(especially when dry coughing) then the annoyingness of sneezing, although I might be ignorant on how bad sneezing is, am I?

Sneeze for two minutes. I've experienced coughs that are so bad it feels like I'm going to cough up a lung. Having a coughing fit that leaves you gasping for air is not fun at all.
Compared to that, sneezing is a mild annoyance.
