For those who knows about Luigi, good. I want to check with you about any other historical successful cases before this.

Emphasis not on the headshot, but rather the notion of a successful offing of a generally hated figure.

Mussolini and Hitler don't count because they offed themselves.

JFK... don't really think he is generally hated.

Weird for me to ask this, but Google is being coy and not answering and CGPT is nope.

Luigi is an idiot.
Didn't even get the right person.
It's a time in history when people don't even know who the real enemies are.
You have to get the person behind the surface.

Also, I'm talking about Luigi's Mansion if anyone asks.

Does the guy who beat Jeffrey Dahmer to death count?

I wish I could give some more obscure examples from my own country, but sadly only good people get assassinated here, while war criminals and nepo babies get to hold the highest offices in the nation. Whoops, I've said too much. That being said, I wish more Americans would use their guns for what the 2nd amendment intended. They have the right to wield man's most badass invention, but choose not to do anything good with it.

I disagree with vigilantism. I am all for putting these people on trial instead of assassinating them. It's a slippery slope problem. Guns should be used for self-defense, war, or a tyrannical government. Though, the best case is they don't get used at all.

I'd say Tetsuya Yamagami is one of the most successful political assassins of the 21st century. Killed Shinzo Abe and now the LDP is in disarray and the Unification Church has experienced massive backlash to the point of having their status as a religious corporation revoked. He basically did exactly what he'd hoped to do.
