I'm always confused about why in Naruto verse kunoichi is always placed as the one who's at risk of being assaulted. For example when hinata get kidnapped by kumo to be a 'womb' to make a new hyuuga under kumo. It doesn't make sense, from what I've seen it's the man who should be at risk.

The shinobi world seems to be clearly inspired by ancient japan customs, with strength and power as equalizers between genders.
However, a young woman that had yet to cultivate their strength will still be abused and mistreated compared to a man, although Naruto got it worse anyway.

I am not a massive naruto fan but iirc, arent the bloodline limit powers normally pretty mid unless it get acitvated by some crazy secret know-how like killing your BFF or family or something?

Women and men both did the same amount of works in passing down their gene. Sure something exclusively passed down from the mother or the father like color blindness, but the total amount itself is the same. There's already a precedent in canon about bloodline limit passed down from father with a non bloodline mother, as Tsunade got that senju power from her grandpa with non-senju grandma (debatable as their bloodline is kinda 'soft' bloodline and uzumaki's does the same kind)

Bloodline generally are pretty mid, they only enable their holder to do specific thing that non-holder or most ninja can't. Sure byakugan is meh in direct battle, but fuck me if having aerial view of the battlefield is not the most useful thing ever on a large scale conflict. Another example. Normal ninja defeating a swift release user in a battle? Sure they can. Outrunning them? Tough luck.

You get the idea. It's not about the power it's about utility
