I know this is a weird question, but I honestly can't tell if this crosses the line into gross territory or not. So, first a quick, a quick lesson in Henry Riderology: Henry (who is a fifteen year old girl) is in love with her best friend, Ethan, who is in love with their other best friend, Jade. In the part I'm currently writing, they're being picked on by a bully, and Ethan (who is usually the levelheaded straight man of the group) snaps and knocks the bully out. Henry then has to turn away "so he wouldn't see how turned on I was."

So yeah. On one hand, it's not saying anything explicitly sexual. On the other, Henry is still a fifteen year old girl. So, would you say that crosses the line into gross territory?
how old is Ethan though, also Henry is a guy's name but you gave it to a girl lol

No, it does not. I would say that this is perfectly normal for this age, as hormones are also doing their thing.
Getting aroused in that situation may not be common, but is completely normal both biologically and psychologically (especially for girls who can have a crush on one protecting them, even if they aren't aware of the feeling yet).
Gros would be if she shat herself and enjoyed the feeling.

Honestly? It's not that deep at all.

Gross? Maybe, depending on the reader, they might find it personally gross. People can act weird when it comes to sexual things, even at the hint of such, which I think is a major problem in society.

Sexist? Lol, no. Yeah sure, the girl being turned on by the strong guy might be a trope but its a trope for a reason. People (Yes, not just women, men too) are attracted to strength. That's natural. Being turned on at that age is perfectly natural as well. Source? Me, literally. I was once that age. Puberty turns people into a mess and our hormones are usually out of wack. Yeah, you might be uncomfortable by the fact that someone at that age actually experiences such feelings/Emotions (And that's fine) but its a fact that you shouldn't ignore/deny. Being ignorant only causes more problems in the long run.

I think the fact that your novel addresses such things is a positive and I'd even encourage more novels to do the same, whether through immature jokes or through a serious lens.

And at the end of the day, it's purely fiction. So anything goes, really.
