Not full armor though. It's too clunky and I don't really see the appeal of going full robot.

I first read the thread title as "In action wombat...." and had a very different idea of what the thread might entail...

True. Though not gonna happen in a lot of jp works. There is a weird fixation on girls' underwear and transparent umbrellas in Japan

The western countries should bring back bloomers (they already exist plenty in asia ). Fancy bloomers that can give skirts a little poof so that they can swing fluffily

Also bloomers+knee socks+straps or skin-tight tights are so much better fanservice than underwear flash. Panty show is such a cheap trick for fanservice.

Weird example: Misaka Mikoto from the To Aru franchise. She always wears safety shorts, but the anime (I haven't read the Railgun manga or the Index light novels) has quite a lot of upskirt shots, to the point that I wonder if the shorts are a fetish in and of themselves. I could be misremembering the frequency of the shots though, haven't watched Index or Railgun in a while.

When they are staring and panting and trying to roll up their tongues they are incredibly easy to stab.

Allow me to explain:

Do you really think that pose has anything to do with robbing banks or catching bad guys?
Removing fan service, or even fighting against fan service, is a good way to tank your fan interest. It's that simple. Marvel's finding that out the hard way. 'Taste' has nothing to do with it.

Or tights or leggings. Bicycle shorts would apply. That way you have to hide the underwear by not making the skirt flap.

Easy answer. Don't call attention to it? Why should a panty flash matter in a life-or-death scenario? Why force a fan service scene when it's not needed? It's clothing, as long as the setting makes it make sense in a fight why call attention to it in a setting that makes no sense? This just sounds like someone that is terminally online tbh...
