This is one of the rare case of when The English dub is equal, if not better, than the Japanese dub.

A hidden gem in Anime storytelling and Hidden gem of English dub.

I have a few others where I think the voice acting is superior in English than Japanese:

"Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind"

I initially watched it when it was cut up into "Warriors of the Wind" which is genuinely an experience and a half. It's also the reason why Studio Ghibli has the "no cuts" rule for any international release since the 80s.

And probably Dragonball & Dragonball Z as it's a fond memory of watching those in English with my dad.

Yamishibai is really good both sub and dub. Season three is peak though.

K-on has the best dub in my opinion, also I think Madoka Majica had a good one as well but it's been a long while since I've seen it so I'm not too sure

All of them. The Dub VS Sub argument is fucking stupid. I work a lot, and usually have anime on in the background, I can't sit and read it. Now when it comes to Kdramas it'll always be sub, because I can understand most of the words
