So the cheat I thought about is when MC gets WILLINGLY touchy on a weapon, he gains all of its cool effects.
The first handicap is that he can't be using any weapons when the cheat is on, meaning he has to fight barehanded with the cool effects of the weapon. The second handicap is that he is only allowed to keep one weapon's effect at a time, for now. Touch a new weapon and immediately he loses the previous weapon's effect.
So what does it mean by "gains all of its cool effects"? If he touches Zangetsu or FGO's Caliburn, he gets to shoot sword beams. If he touches a magic flaming sword, he is lit on fire and deals fire damage.
Due to me being fickle-minded, I am now stuck in the scenario where MC can only touch generic weapons, ie normal non enchanted, no special gimmick weapons such a dagger, arming sword and M16.
Initially what I thought is MC gaining weapon proficiency... on the weapon that he can't use due to handicap, which is quite dumb.
Then I tried to have MC able to gain bits of hardness and sharpness of said weapon onto certain body parts, ie index and middle fingers together to form dagger and tip of hand to forearm as arming sword.
Then it becomes another can of worm of its own. What happens when MC touches Captain America's shield? The kinetic absorption is fine, but would MC bounce up and down when flung? How far should I allow the hardness and sharpness exist in said body part? Does it mean that MC has metal properties on one arm that can also stab and slash?
What about guns that shoot normal bullets like a Glock? Does MC doing a finger gun means that he can shoot bullets?
Some suggestion would be nice, thanks.
