It's very difficult to judge. They're not bad, but the vocals are what makes the lyrics good; plain text doesn't convey all that much. Personally, I think they're a bit too direct and literal, but if you're purposefully going for that then it's not a bad thing at all.

agreed. Vocals are the actual voice. Lyrics are just the words being said.
