I'm looking for a dungeon core story set in the US in the post apocalypse

It was a dungeon core store about I believe a professor who got turned into a core and a parallel story about a man, his son and the sons girlfriend(?) and some others.

Initial chapters reminded me of some apocalypse stuff because it was lol

Key notes:
-Dungeon core was on the beach
-The people powered up and eventually joined the core as I think minions of some kind but that meant they couldn't *die* anymore and it was a large plot point
-Oh and a major plot point was the professor lady core thing was losing her humanity

This is really all I can remember about it, does anyone know the story I'm referring to and if it's still on scribble hub?

In the first chapter the professor lady is like tripping balls and a system/core thing I think kills her and integrates her into it as a host. In the beginning the guys are out camping or at the dads cabin when the ending occurs and they have to get to town. Some notable things are that the dungeon takes place on a marina but starts out as a beach cave thing.

oooo, i have read that story, idk the name really but I remember reading it in novelbin.com, try to look into the monster protagonist tags, if the story is good you will find it kinda easily, i remember finding it fast
