I'm nowhere near ready to publish my pirate story, but I'm also stuck at Walmart while my car gets its oil changed, so I may as well start thinking about it now so I don't go crazy from boredom.

So far I've wanted to call the series Siren Called with each book having a unique subtitle. Like, book one might be Siren Called: The Door to Shael. But judging by what's popular right now, I'm wondering if giving it a more lightnovel-esque name would be better. So, I'm just spit balling here, but how do these sound?

Becoming a Pirate Hunter While Lost On Another World
My Sister is Taking Over the World but I Just Want to Hunt Pirates
Descended from Sirens: Trapped On My Ancient Homeworld
A War Between Siblings: Pirate Hunter vs World Conqueror
Siren Called [Isekai Progression Pirate Fantasy]

First is good type of generic, second is comedic, third is trying too hard, fourth is pushing specific theme while being generic, fifth is RR. Either 1 or 2, I'm leaning on 2.

And those are both better than just calling it Siren Called?

Siren Called what exactly? It fees like unfinished thought, so it's meh. If you want to leave it, maybe play with it and common webnovel titles, like Siren Called Me Into Another World, Now I Hunt Pirated or whatever. Basically focus on immediate and on MC, the two things impatient webnovel readers often rely upon when evaluating thw title and synopsis. Even more basically, copy Hans lol

Siren Called what exactly?
That's what the main characters are. Siren Called, or maybe Sirencalled. They're descendants of Sirens from another world, and they've started hearing a call that leads them back to their ancestors' homeworld.

I'm gonna be the prick and say that's a weird name. If I were to read stories with that kind of name, either good or bad in quality, I'd make fun of them once in a while.

But hey, I like comedies. So, I'd jump for the second title immediately.

You can probably workshop ideas around the concept of Siren-Called characters.

"Wailbound" for example, still makes you think they have be brought here forcefully via some form of sound.

There are probably softer variants you can use it, and the Pied Piper's melody can be an inspiration.

Terms like "lured" might work better than "called".

In Final Fantasy XIV, then name of people whose mind is essentially taken over Leviathan, the sea serpent, are simply called "Drowned"

So things like Goaded, Mesmerised, Enchanted, Summoned could also be used.

Good luck.
