The first GTA game I ever played was GTA 3. The series has come a long way!

With GTA 6 on the horizon, more and more news about it is hitting my feeds. Isn't it exciting?

It looks really good. I mean really good. GTA 6's first trailer has been out for over a year now, but the second trailer is now confirmed for Feb, 2025. So we have a new trailer coming in just a little over a month!

Below is GTA VI trailer 1, and below that is a comparison montage of ALL the GTA release trailers from GTA 1 up to GTA 6. The compilation is great for comparing all the trailers. Its like a panoramic view of the series almost.

Just for fun I'll include some fake GTA 6 trailers in a second post. Aka, trailers made by fans to look like GTA 6 in some capacity.

Does anyone have any thoughts or comments on this game?

Never beleive trailers. They are all pre-rendered. Even those that say they use in-game engine. Never believe trailers, never preorder games.

I do believe GTA's trailers tho, because they have consistently delivered excellent games (the best imo) and the in game graphics matched the trailer.

But you do have good advice! Very true. Ive gotten bad games off of good trailers many times before! ?‍?

CDPR also consistently delivered excellent games. Untill Cyberpunk 2077 came out. Bioware consistently delivered excellent games. Untill Inquisition, Andromeda, or Anthem came out(depends on your standards). Blizzard consistently delivered excellent games. Untill Shadowlands came out. The list goes on. A lot of top staff left rockstar after they made RDR2. I can't be so sure the game will be excellent or even good untill I see the gameplay on a stream or YT video.

To be fair, Cyberpunk did become a great game years after launch when they finally fixed its endless problems. I only bought it earlier this year and it was really good.

As for GTA VI, hmm. Maybe we can make a bet on it? No money of course. Just for fun. I think its going to be another 9/10 or 10/10 smash hit. ?

To be fair, Cyberpunk did become a great game years after launch when they finally fixed its endless problems. I only bought it earlier this year and it was really good.

Compared to what they promised and showed before, it didn't. I can actually say the same about Witcher 3, but circumstances around the game was different. They really were b-tier studio before Witcher 3 and didn't have recources to do it, plus, Witcher wasn't popular before wild Hunt came out. Ahem, anyway, it is one example out of many, and it did take them a lot of time.

Yeah. The biggest issue I have with Rockstar was all the cheating in GTA Online for years and years. Like guys running around making cash rain down on me from the sky, or shooting cars at me with a gattling gun. Or changing the weather from snow to summer. lol.

And not allowing private lobbies, so you couldnt keep the hackers out...

Interestingly enough, the 2019 developer build of Gta 6 leaked months ago. Keep in mind the graphics are super early in development so they look pretty bare bones (i.e, they are bad). It's a Pre-Alpha build.

But for the amount of development time on the build it was actually pretty amazing.

also with gta6 I just hope they don't go the ubisoft route and call it a AAAA game and that they need $200 bucks because it's AAAA

My biggest problem with Rockstar was that with the online mode, the single player mode was completely abandoned. There are bugs in the game today that were there on the game's launch, and all the singleplayer DLC got cancelled (we were going to get additions to the story like RDR1 and GTA 4 did).

Honestly I only hope I can do Florida style crimes like robbing a bank naked covered in cow piss because it makes you 'invisible'-nya.
