As you can see Anna's not to far off of your cover and they approved it almost instantly. The only thing I can think of is that everything about my story was approved almost three years ago so maybe they were different back then.

I left the site in the wake of the Google contract that enforced this.

There are stories like Seaspecter's which are "legacy" (it's not the term what Moderator John would use, but it is what they are).

The "legacy" rules predate the draconic rules enforced by Google's contract.

Considering how their algorithm work, it is extremely unlikely for the "legacy" story to raise to the top and thus be displayed by the site. It's not entirely impossible, but it is very unlikely, hence advertisers wouldn't perceive any problem with their advertisement being associated with the wrong content. Your story, on the other hand, is new, and the moderation works harder to restrict any content the advertisers may not like. If you manage to pass the "cover inspection" there is a good chance than any of your chapter could be simply deleted to not offend the advertisement. All advertisements on their mobile ap is un-skippable and intrusive, not to mention it could access even your contacts or even the photos, so it is a little spyware too (courtesy of Google)

Keep in mind that most "censorship" on site is not conscious, the moderators are mostly absentee, it is entirely automatic 90% of time. Your busty girl rang the same alarm of the in-built software (once again, courtesy of Google) and alerted the moderation.

However, the story of being "legacy" doesn't exempt them from rules, they are simply buried by algorithm. If it has a warning, i.e. "sexual content warning" (not actual content) it is already rendered invisible by default, hidden behind age verification which in case of application is your ID (the webpage accessed through computer bypassed it, at least by the time I was gone).

Not only it wouldn't work, their moderator doesn't quite use common sense, reason, or even empathy, and they would rather start deleting other stories than to approve yours. All of them quite cannot comprehend the pains of the creative process, not to mention you (as a person, account) is a commodity to them, good only for the traffic they generate.

As much as I cannot ever return to the site, I don't quite wish for others being banned

It's quite difficult to "survive" on their site as it is between their down-voting campaign, creatively re-interpreted rules, prohibitive algorithms and so on.

But more than that, if you went to a beach anywhere here in America, and saw a woman in a bathing suit, and said she was 'sexual' because of that...that would be projection. ...ultimately, they don't as much as enforce anything as much as they want to please their corporate customer, and ultimately don't care for anything but money.

I live in the U.S, where Women wont get stoned for wearing a bathing suit or a bikini on the beach when we swim, and thats my mind set. If a bathing suit isn't sexual (and its not), then neither is a space suit. And if a man came up to me on the beach and told me I was being 'sexual' because Im out swimming and having fun in said bathing suit, I'd call him a pervert and tell him to get away from me.
