*offers two cookies to the onis to make them give up*That's easy. Get the oni to attack Scribel.
Well, Ohko's system is a lot better at self-sustaining itself than mine was, so I have more hopes of them not getting overworked by AG~Overworked is something I am immensely worried about in this game format. And I had tried to look in to ways of doing a collaborative mapping system even very MS paint level things, to no avail or nothing good.
In terms of the game itself for this AG, from my point of view quest, especially in the later levels when it will be harder to level up will inevitably become a chore. But the context of the chore will become is what is important. The way I hope to play is the thru prescribed quest I will know the world, meet NPCs and thru that, become a platform for an epic quest or story. When that is done, I rise and repeat.
Guild quest should IMO, be a Setting Machine, and Custom quest, that is where that action is at.
That is what I had hopped and experimented on @GDLiZy, and I think it worked out ok... kinda? ish?
I think it is good that @Epsil have been trying to get The magic lab off the ground, its as shame that not a lot people are interested, but then again the is a little be of problem with the powerlevel IMO.
Also, I think a good thing would be that players making quest that explore what there players want specifically will be a good thing in this game.
Although, this would mean we have to read thoroughly the character stories of other players and actually set up a scenario for them... We have to be both player and NPC for other people. That is my ideal at least.
That said, while the game has plenty of self-sustaining features, I doubt the game can survive without Ohko tbh... I mean, I'd hate to see Ohko go, and I'd hate if the game died because of that too, but uhn...
In all my RP experiences, no matter how self-sustaining a roleplay is designed to be, it immediately crumbles apart the moment the staff team disappears... I'd hope to not see Ohko gone to test that theory, though I'd love to see myself proven wrong in case the game did survive in case Ohko left...
So uhn... Well, while we should definitely do our part to not overwork our GM, I'm honestly very skeptical we can somehow keep the game going in case Ohko decides/needs to leave... Unless someone actually takes up the role of GM that is, though only Feathers was willing to do so so far IIRC.
As for the quests becoming a chore... Mmmmmm, well, this is complicated for me to answer, because like... While in AG v1 they totally became a chore due to their immense lack of variety, I have a hard time thinking I'd ever see them as a chore in this version of the game.
Nene is a very limited character, so maybe she'd run out of quests to do after a while, but worst came to worst, I'd just make a new character and play through the early game again! XD
So uhn... I dunno, I have a hard time ever imagining seeing them as a chore, we have lots of interesting stuff to play with right now! \(^^)/
