In a cool scifi future, humanity uses transmigration/time travel technology to place humans consciousness into the bodies of their ancestors (yes its inspired by the show "Travelers"). One dude gets into the body of his ancestor when he's in high school. But the dude is basically living in euphoria's high school.

two ways it can go.

1. Drama filled as hell as the time travelled protagonist struggles to keep up with the drama while completing the mission

2. Dude just dodges the hell out of the drama.

Aren't you the guy who wanted to delete his account? :blob_hmm_two:

It's a somewhat interesting but generic idea. Things like that have been done countless times before in a slightly changed scenario. Anyway, it all depends on your story. You can easily work with this and create something interesting if you are a good author. Just be aware if you choose Euphoria you will lose like 90% of all potential readers instantly.

1. Is the only way for the plot to be interesting. If MC actively avoids the "main plot" and "main story" it will turn into an edgy snoozefest.

2. is complete garbage and boring. Why even write a story if you consider this option?

Sounds kind of like the Star Trek episode "All Our Yesterdays" (and its two novel sequels, only one of which - Yesterday's Child - I've read). Not sure if they actually transmigrated or were just shunted into the past though; been a while, and I know Spock and McCoy were shunted physically because they had "not been properly prepared and there was no time"

Could make it a comedy where it's mostly about him trying his best to just barely avoid getting dragged into the drama. The more over the top the scenario is, the better.
