How do you prefer the release schedule for chapters? Daily? Weekly?

Hi everyone! I’m curious to know your thoughts about how I can make this story even more enjoyable for you. How often do you prefer new chapters to be released—daily, weekly, or maybe something in between? Also, what chapter length do you enjoy the most? Do you prefer shorter chapters that are quick to read, or longer ones that take their time to dive deeper into the story?

I’d also love your perspective on pacing: Do faster-paced events make the story more exciting for you, or does it sometimes feel rushed or superficial? On the other hand, do slower, more detailed developments keep you hooked, or can they feel too drawn out?

Your feedback really matters to me, and I want to craft a story that keeps you engaged and excited. Let me know what you think—I’d love to hear from you!

I would suggest searching for the six or seven similar threads over three areas of the site already discussing this, myself. There are as many different answers as there are people answering the question... The majority seems to be "One chapter for approval then 1-4 more chapters within 24 hours, then at a bare minimum one a week, ideally 2-3 a week, after that" - but really "whatever rate you can sustain" is the RIGHT rate.

I frequent RR more than here, read more there too, so I'll speak from there perspective. Its good to have a bare minimum of 20 chapters already written, than release the first 10 one a day, and then have a 3-4 chapters a week schedule afterwards. Personally, I would go for 3 chapters a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in particular.

However, if you have longer chapters, say 5k words or more, you can get away with less posts in a week. Just depends really.

It's just the most spaced out schedule so you always have a day or days(s) between posts.
