Not a Korean Historian, but are you referring to the actual Three Kingdoms of Goguryo, Baekche and Silla, or the Later Three Kingdoms with Balhae, Later Goguryo, Later Baekche and Unified Silla?

Any case, there might be smaller variations, but in general--and until after 1945--Korean people are homogenous, even in culture.

I'm more educated on the Joseon era. But the 3 kingdoms era was basically the Spiderman meme. Though each nation did have differences in their culture that is still evident till today. Funny how the 3 east Asian states each had a 3 kindoms era.

China, Korea and Japan are the East Asian states. Mongolia is central Asia. Vietnam, Thailand and those are South East Asian, and the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and so on are classified via something that eludes my mind.

China's Three Kingdoms: Wu, Cao Wei, Shu Han

Korea's Three Kingdoms: Goguryo, Baekche, Silla.

Japan has no Three Kingdoms. It has Three Unifiers though: Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi (Hashiba) Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Ieyasu.

China, Korea and Japan are the East Asian states. Mongolia is central Asia. Vietnam, Thailand and those are South East Asian, and the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and so on are classified via something that eludes my mind.

China, Korea and Japan are the major East Asian States, while Mongolia, though it was geographically north of China proper, belonged to the Turkic peoples of Central Asia and Siberia.

Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos are Indo-Chinese, Myanmar (Burmese) and Thailand (Siamese) belong to another group, but collectively, they are grouped as 'mainland South East Asia', while Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Timor Leste and Malaysia are Maritime South East Asia.
