I was writing a story on RR where the main characters are all at a school for potential deities. Anyone can join.
They are allowed to get converts from a world full of people rescued from other worlds. None of them were bound to any other Powers. All the children born there are reincarnated souls not claimed by other powers. This is in an attempt to sort the souls because unclaimed souls can cause problems over time.
Good, evil, Trekies and Warsies, all are taken.
The worlds that are made for them to rule over? They can choose to get souls this way. In fact, some planned for it from the very start.
So basically, don't follow or belong to any faith or Power, and get recruited to be reborn elsewhere to stop you causing problems.
