Imagine this: You were living a happy life with your family until, one day, a woman murdered your entire family before your eyes. From that moment, you lived only for revenge. Years later, you finally found her, but what you saw was nothing like what you imagined:

The woman was no longer the person you remembered. She now looked like a broken shell of a human being, stripped of her will. Another criminal — a psychopathic manipulator had "remade" her into a submissive, obedient "pet" with no memories of her past life or crimes. All she knows is that she exists to serve her "master." She doesn't remember killing your family, nor does she even know who she used to be.

Important Note: This question came to me randomly while I was out for a walk, and I just got curious about what others would do in such a situation.

If idealistic storytelling has taught me anything, then there's most likely more behind the whole set-up and that chain quests give the best loot. Depending on how set up she was I either let her live as her old self or give her a new third personality depending on how far she willingly went murder hobo. Killing isn't profitable...

Just kill her; there is no need for complicated things; it doesn't matter if she knows. Everyone would do this option if it was a real situation; only a brainwash idiot would forgive the killer; give the killer a job on the house were the killing happened so that later the killer kills you; and yes, this happened in real life.

As a narrative, I think letting her alone would be best, as her situation as of now would be the punishment for her crime; just move on.

Long story short, woman killed MC entire clan and country for her own clan and country, MC met her again after awhile, this time was as a mindless sex/ battle doll by a imperial prince cunt who enslaved her entire country. Imma be honest with you. Something similar happened to me.

See, back in 2013-2019, I worked under an asshole of a principal. She suffered from stage 1 cancer, and is corrupt to the core, stealing money and blaming us when someone snitched her to the higher ups. I was stupid back then, and signed a document that says I received money from her, when in fact, the money ended in our faculty club.

Long story short, I was convicted of 'stealing' money in violation of office rules. A minor administrative case but put an end to my option of applying to private schools because I was already a 'tainted' employee. I was mad when I was rejected on that grounds because I was not given the chance to prove myself, and suffered for three years before re-entering government service again.

Fast forward to today, I saw her last time in a grocery store near us. She is with her grandsons, and she's the one who called me (I don't like talking to people in public unless I was approached). She's still alive, retired, and smiling (compared to her grumpy self during her school years). Oddly enough, I didn't feel any anger to her, but rather, I was happy she's fine.

So yeah, you know my answer. I will kill her slow.

Joke. Seriously, I'll just help in any way I can. I'm still human capable of sympathy.

In the first place, I can't live for revenge for more than like 20 seconds. I might not forgive the killer but I'd totally forget her because I am face blind. Being able to recognize the face of your grudge is kind of critical for vengeance.

I would make all the torture they've endured look like a joke as my goal would be to rip apart there soul piece by piece until they are truly dead forever in oblivion never to exist again only then would I be satisfied. It doesn't matter if they forgot since in the end the soul always remembers and I don't forget a grudge~

I don't care if she remembers. I remember. That's all that matters.

I'd turn her into a grease spot with either my 12 gauge pump-action, put some fairly large holes in her chest with my twin chrome .44's, or have some extra fun and go get my M-14 rifle, pretend she's a straw dummy and play target practice.

I have other guns, but these are my favorite.
