So I'm looking for recommendations, not just anything but a novel set in prehistoric or maybe ancient civilizations.
The main thing is I'm looking for a story with an immortal protagonist who observes and acts on a world's history.

To four thousand years later is actually a really good novel but if you're Christian the feeling of whiplash is too strong. It's just too blasphemous and I consider myself open minded
