In my country we use units like kg, kilometers, ton, etc so when the opposite of them are used i really get irritated and migraine because it would be easy for me to know a distance in kilometer than miles etc, i'm the only one who has this problem?.
If you live in the neighboring countries of these states: US, UK and Burma, yeah, that'd really be a headache.

Just use even more arbitrary types of units instead. Just create something nobody would understand like hands, arms, and throws, give them some random number and then write like everybody knows what those mean.

I guess we just need to go back to measuring everything in spans and cubits.

A span is the distance between the tip of your thumb and the tip of your pinky when your hand is fully spread.
A cubit is the distance between your elbow and the tip of your longest finger.*

In my country we use metres, kilograms, ect in school, but people often use feet, pounds miles, ect outside.

It's very sad.

Be at ease; revenge is being served. I am using metric in my books, confusing them imperialists.
You want kill our last brain cells.
Relatable.
One thing i hate is "pounds"....it always confuses me like shit.

It especially a headache when i watch anything retable to US...they use miles, metric ton, gallons etc.

If it's simple and common units like feet or miles or gallons, it usually doesn't matter much to me. I know or at least recognize the basic units in both systems.

Thankfully, nobody's using inches to measure gun caliber
U sure about that? I'm not certain how it's done now across the world, but historically inches were comonly used for gun calibers. Some of the most popular calibers come directly from simpler sizes in inches, like 7,62 mm equals exactly 0,3 in, or 12,7 mm is 0,5 in.

relatable to everyone not a person of the 3 countries who still use the absurd and nonsensical measurements instead of logical metric.

actually, historically a lot of countries used, and still use, millimetres to size rounds. most Europeans countries, as well as Japan, used millimetres when developing rounds in the late 1800s/early 1900s. It's only really the British and the Americans who used inches when developing rounds. the Americans actually used several different naming schemes which muddled things up a lot.

the whole inches vs millimetres vs calibres is a very complex and often confusing story (compounded with how inches and calibres are unfortunately imprecise compared to mm), which is why most weapons short of naval deck guns (5in and bigger) are largely recognized by their round size (in millimetres) first these days but are also categorized into broad groups by their bore diameter (which is where calibres come in). just for a basic example, .303 british rounds are "categorized" as .30 caliber alongside several dozen US .30cal rounds despite the rounds themselves being .05mm to .10 wider than the standard 7.82mm (.308in) that is a "true" .30 cal (and is actually closer in bullet diameter to soviet 7.62 rounds).

Interestingly enough, the US doesn't use the imperial system it uses its own system called the United States customary units.
