I'm writing an argument about why killing intent sucks, and would like evidence in popular media on what it is and situations where it was used cheaply, was redundant, and or inaccurately.
Cheaply like how a Mary Sue would use it.
Redundant in that we already have something called spiritual pressure or something.
Inaccurate, in that the word itself doesn't match how it is used.
Synonym's that match killing intent, but are not could be bloodlust, fear aura, death echos, sheer charisma like terrifying presence like in Fallout New Vegas, and more.

It's not what you want, but maybe it can help you.

I'm interested in this argument, why do you think killing intent is bad? You are asking for examples of it done poorly, but what about when it isn't?

Cause killing intent is somehow real?

In real life, there’s no scientific evidence for a literal "killing intent" aura or energy. However, humans are perceptive to subtle cues that hint at someone’s emotions or intentions. For instance, body language, facial expressions, eye contact, and overall demeanor can sometimes convey intense hostility or aggression. Our brains are wired to detect potential threats, and these signals can trigger a feeling of unease or alertness, even if we can’t consciously identify the exact cause.

It's just the chosen term that is used in chinese novel, and later in most novel.

sheer charisma
I also am worried about the synonyms you chose... I'd like to see your definition of killing intent for charisma to be considered the same thing.
The problem you find in killing intent very well could be your own understanding and experience with it.

Why are you writing an argument about why something sucks but need other people to give you examples? What do you pretend to have an opinion for, if you don't even know what you are talking about? :blob_hmm_two:
Serious question, because it seems you have no idea, yet have an opinion and want others to justify it for you. :blob_cookie:

"Murderous intent" and any other type of emotions can be felt if you are perceptive enough
