I have encountered till today 700 channels like these

It is always a barely animated chibi cut of some popular animated characters. What are these pathogenic channels called? Are there an umbrella term for them? How do I block them all?

How do I block them all?

I just turned off youtube history entirely, any recommendations I get are from subscriptions. Warning: Shorts stop working if you do, but that was a bonus for me.

I just turned off youtube history entirely, any recommendations I get are from subscriptions. Warning: Shorts stop working if you do, but that was a bonus for me.

They appears in my search results and I don't want to see them. I have been manually block everyone of them with the youtube channel block addon but there are just too many. I got about 700 gacha channels in my blacklist already.

I got one, multiple even, though its not really "blocking" persay.
BUT
it works PERFECTLY.




1) Delete youtube video in history that caused algorithm to suggest this kind of stuff
1.5) Delete whole youtube history clean to start anew (as it can be a pain to scroll&find the [patient0] or the multiple ones to delete in long list)
2) Use incognito if you watch a video that is outside preference zone, so its not saved in history + algorithm doesnt recommend similar things
2.5) Incognito mode can have ublock origin installed to block ads.
Usually incognito is pain to use for youtube as youtube will pop ads, as incognito would be like a 1.0browser with all ads, but luckily there is indeed function to let incognito have extensions activated. Though unlike normal mode, you will see a small stutter of 1+ seconds at beginning of videos (maybe bc its loading-activating the extension all over again = like at browser launch)
ps : I never used incognito in my life, but somehow youtube made me use it. (facepalm)

Its better to [eliminate the problem at its source] or "patient 0"
Curing symptoms =/= Cure the problem.
That and bc sometimes it doesnt work too (to not recommend).

Youtube official team/company literally could implement but dont (allow).
+ they removed the "block channels" that was previously there.
Its as mini-scummy as steam removed the [Ignore] function to some trending/popular games, by adding a shitty big icon at top right corner.


Hence like i said "Solve the problem at its source" => Block algorithm to recommend it by removing the [patient0]video in youtubeHISTORY.
Analogy its like a lion liking HUMAN MEAT. Or you timetravel to remove the first time they eat it and developing a liking for it, or you kill the lion and get new one (reset).

Guess I will return to doing thing manually with channel blocker then
