I used to know a member of the Black Rose society, a national BDSM group. As long as you have safe words in place (and both partners honor them) it is, well, completely safe. Not my kind of thing, but safe. But you do really have to trust your partner - and that can be part of what makes it exciting for some.

Having a safe word helps, but some people are like mentally ill even if you have a safe word which means it time to stop,well your partner can ignore it which i think most of the time bdsm is 50/50,it may turn into horror sexually violence quickly.
