Recently an issue has come up claiming that Google began deleting people's documents that go against their TOS due to causing AI training issues and a few other things. As a result, many people have lost writings for containing descriptive nudity, offensive language, copyrighted material and more. There are a few discussion on it in other webnovel forums but haven't seen anything here yet.

I mean, not really the docs, but I got some of my apps deleted for uploading in GDrive. If they can do it there, what's stopping them from doing it in GDocs as well?

If you use the newest version you can enable autosaving and backup thing.

I'm not sure. More research will be needed but I would assume so.
