It's not bad. The first glue I put on there fell off somehow. Then, when I saw the kid standing on it and twisting it, I told him that he could use his allowance to buy a new dustpan if he broke it, and he stopped goofing off with it. He hasn't actually used his allowance yet, but I've talked to him about how he can save it and buy toys with it. I've also put a few videos about financial literacy on his YouTube Kids. He told me he wanted a beard yesterday, and I told him we could look at beard prices online after we brushed his teeth, but he still avoided brushing his teeth for quite a while, so I didn't bother reminding him about the beard.

Received a custom printed flag in the mail, retrieved it from the mailbox, and opened the package. Squeed a little bit, maybe. Very happy with it. It's going on our scooter.

Picked up trash the kid left on the floor and told him that I ran out of time to make a snow cone for him because I spent my time doing something that he could have done.

The usual. Kid put up a big fuss about getting his teeth flossed, so I took him to the bed and held him calmly for several minutes until he agreed to cooperate.

Reminded my kid that we'll have less time for fun stuff when I sit there holding him for a long time. There was less holding time before he cooperated.

Helped Husband make food he likes in the slow cooker and packed it all up in Pyrex containers for easy reheating in the microwave later.
