And I am in NOWAY wanting to spear head this idea...
But what if... somehow... the recent incident at Mertis with demons and thieves, by luna (@GDLiZy ) spurs on friction between the Kalbius and the Empire....

What If the guild strikes a deal the the crime lord who will bankroll a quest board that both infiltrate and undermine the empire... that sort a thing? Not to destroy but to weaken...

(er... i-its not like this was this was the plan all a long...)

Originally I was thinking that the halfwings could sponsor that kind of quest board, but whichever way works.

It may even be possible to do both.

But I do really like the idea of a militia / guerrilla / terrorism based quest board. The halfwings are set up more like one of your conventional "rebellion" factions who have a clear objective, whereas I think a crime lord I suppose would have a more terrorism or Spire-reef like flavor.

Note: I would also eventually like to see a quest board from the opposite perspective, namely suppressing a rebellion or counterterrorism.

that's true.... duplication is no good... I do think the count will be more organised crime tho.... more economy based....
Gonna put that idea on the back burner... maybe kalbbie will change a bit once I add more ingredients in the pot and stir it a bunch...

On the other hand - how is a humble mercenary/guard supposed to know any of that?

I mean, it's not exactly a bad thing to have duplication, and I think it's totally fair game to open a region like that!

Though for me I'm generally most excited about something that brings something new.

I'm a little bit less enthusiastic about shapeshifting dungeon because it's hard for me to envision what the quest board would look like if you can't even fix the content or place specific objectives.

I would like to see many dungeons introduced to the game in general though!

• Where is that elven tree house place with fancy magic stuff? Magic emphasis?
• Desert people
• Orc village / goblin village (siding with the "good" goblins here)
• Atlantis
• Floating island city
• Airship metropolis
• Big human capital city
• Nobility academy (go play your villainess novel out lol)
• Wizard academy
• Centaur village
• Plains village (gnolls)
• Ice biome
• Volcano
• ...there's so much stuff...
