I just came here from Royal Road, where the key to success is to post stories with tons and tons of chapters. Is it the same on Scribble Hub, or do people here like shorter books?

Also, what genre(s) get the most attention here? On RR, if an unknown author wanted any attention, he pretty much had to write a litrpg. If I wanted to get the most eyes on my work here, what kind of story should I write?

People like longer books, but the best way to get attention is to post consitently for a long time rather than bulk uploading.

I don't have an answer to this question, so I will do something different. Other popular genres are comedy, romance, action, adventure, smut, GL, LitRPG, and fanfictions. You can mix them however you want. Does using those genres mean you can't flop? No, you can still flop. In the end, it all depends on whether your story is entertaining or not.

Another thing I can mention is that SH is a sister site of NU(novel updates). NU hosts translations of JP, CN, and KR novels. SH is advertised there, so a lot of readers come from NU, and they like JP, CN, and KR novels. It doesn't mean you have to write JP LN-like story. You can still get popular by writing different things, but since you've asked what is popular, I thought of mentioning it.

I thought Webnovel was the go-to place for 1000+ chapter stories.

Not sure what your point of reference is. There's a very wide range of stories here; the most common are probably between 50 and 200 chapters, but there's also a lot that have more or less chapters and they do well too. But generally the more you upload consistently, the more views you'll get - that's true everywhere.

Most people keep it all in a single book. There are exceptions, but they're pretty rare, and most of them are cases with distinctly separate plot of each volume.
